Alan Johnston
The middle east is an amazing place. Full of contradictions and the joy of life. My fellow countryman Brian Keenan spent 5 years as a hostage in Beirut. I was moved by his book 'An Evil Cradling'. I just feel so sad for Alan and his family and look forward to the day he is released.
